Re: Bay Area D&D 3.0
Mon, January 24, 2005 - 10:13 PMAlmost all of my books are 3.0, but I have the Mongoose Player's Guide which is 3.5. The rest I'll try and pull from the SRD. House rules I use:
1) Cinematic bonus- cool description lets you roll 2D20, take the highest
2) Ties- anytime you do something for an ally, friend, love interest etc. or against a rival or foe, you get 100 xp on the spot. Yes, you can level quickly if you can roleplay well.
3) No Alignment
4) Raise Dead- Any person can only be raised once, and any spellcaster can only raise dead once, period.

Re: Bay Area D&D 3.0
Fri, February 11, 2005 - 12:20 PMAlso, if anyone's interested, I'll be at the SF D&D meetup tonight, at Caffe Espresso at 8 pm, at 462 Powell st. in SF. I'm also trying to get folks to meet up at my place on Sunday if they're serious about playing.
Thanks,
Chris

Sun, February 27, 2005 - 2:12 PMRiddle of Steel? Damn, I should have joined this tribe earlier. I would really enjoy a good Riddle of Steel session. In any event, I could handle some 3rd ed. -

Re: Bay Area D&D 3.0
Tue, April 12, 2005 - 6:05 PMI'm in, I'm in. My preference is d20 Modern (set somewhere cool), but I can do the D&D thang. Has to be more Roleplay than Hack & Slash, though.
